Add a Raspberry Pi camera to your AmScope desktop microscope. Fits exactly over the eyepiece with no additional hardware required.

Since every eye piece is slightly different, you'll need to experiment a little to find the best place to mount the Raspberry Pi camera board. When you find the perfect spot, burn a couple of holes in the plastic with a soldering iron and screw the board in place.

Love the idea of an eyepiece mount. I should whip up something similar for a 1200mm telescope my brother gave me.

I am currently doing something pretty similar. I have a Raspberry Pi 3 in that exact same case set up to let me watch the prints in progress on my Prusa i3. It is running a distro called motioneyeos that lets you do all sorts of lovely camera-fu with the Pi. In additional to live video streaming, I have it set up to take nicely named/sorted interval stills for easy creation of timelapse videos of my prints. I just have it share the stills directory on the network with SAMBA. I've grown to dislike BTsync for a variety of reasons. You might checkout Syncthing which is also available for the Pi.
