Too thin. Is broken when printing on abs

To me it hits me with the heating block in e3dv6 and the same extruder ... curious

Hi
Print the ABS or PLA?

Hello, what Settings do you use to print it? it never turns out well on my Prusa i3 (MK8 Extruder/Hotend Simplify 3D) i allways have a few Gaps on the two even surfaces, the rest turns out perfect

Would there be a way to reverse this shroud so that the air is directed from the back side of the nozzle? This way you could see your print and nozzle and still get the cooling benefit?

That is a very good point. In fact with my dual extruder setup I went back to the original simple fan duct because I really needed to see what wad happening during the print. I do not think it is easy to reverse this shroud but at some point I will try to design a new one which does not hide the hot-end. Cheers!

Hi. Can you contribute sources of this part? Printed your extruder and want fit this part for eve3d v5, also try to place it from back side of head.

just flip it along the y axis in your slicing program. it should be flipped backward just fine
