I'm scared to death that my printer is going to explode and burn my house down while I sleep.
I've read that these little firestop guys are a good form of protection, but I didn't really have anywhere to hang it above my printer except for maybe below a shelf... so I created a little hanger specifically designed to hold a firestop canister, and clip into a 2" thick shelf.
You might be able to get away without printing supports if you print this on its "back", but I felt like it would be more structurally sound if it was printed on its side, so I have a support in there between the two "teeth" that wrap around the pin.
No post printing steps needed other than to remove any supports you've added. The magnetic disc on the firestop canister fits snugly into the groove in the bottom plate. Then hang it wherever you have a shelf.
