An Astartes Fellblade proxy model for Epic scale games (40k or armageddon etc).

Requires superglue to assemble.

very simple pieces, no fancy gubbins, gribble or widgets as my printer is low res. Not particularly pretty but puts a model on the board. With a bit of paint and from 1m away who's going to notice...

This is a relatively large model, possibly a little oversized for epic (photos shown against rhino models by fractalnoise and sicarian by ologhzul) compared to these models it is not hideously large (these things are meant to be as big as a small building) but compared to 'real' epic they're huouge.

from memory most of the bits are original or largely reworked though props to ologhzul for the overall layout (3 piece etc) and sponsons. i had previously printed out some sicarians and scaled things up and simplified surfaces. also inspired by the shadowsword by stroganoff in terms of turret design.

[2017-03-27] revisited the model, fixed a bunch of reverse facings and ran the stls through netfabb. am planning on printing a couple more out so will fix again if required. should be ok.

[2017-03-28] have replaced the 'twin' sponsons with 'quad' versions to make the model WYSIWYG. will be retrofit quads onto my current one, and the two new models will have quads.

[2017-05-02] really minor aesthetic change. the original model i made had a slightly wider body and tracks (left/right). have added these file so they can be used as model options.

p.s. @ whoever is (trying to) sell the old version on ebay for 50 bucks a pop (really, for this blocky lump of a model ?!) at least get the updated quad guns... it's embarrassing.
p.p.s. @ GW i am totally not connected in anyway at all to the person on ebay selling those prints.

Looking forward to this.
Regarding the "broken" and "repair" business. Try running the STLs through Microsoft's online Netfabb service.

just did the netfabb thing on the turret.
brilliant, even smaller than the original file.
thanks for that tip kabniel !

No problem!
The turret is the only thing that failed on my first attempt at printing these. I just ran it through Netfabb and it cleaned up a lot of the problems the PreForm (Formlabs' software) was displaying on that piece. Printing currently. Once I have a completed set, I'll post up in the "made" section.

Also, to be clear (especially for others reading), there is a downloadable Netfabb software that can be used as well. Basic and pro. I tend to use the online version as I just need to run a quick repair on things. if the repair fails, then i go in with another software and clean up the object by hand.

thanks kabniel,
i will check out netfabb today. the original comment was more a general disclaimer, as the part definitely printed for me.
i just didn't want to put the repaired makeprintable part up as it seems to make the file 5 times as large (???... check this now... original 161kb... fixed... 2Mb!! wow... not included)

Awesome model!!! is there a website where the rest of your army can be seen?
