Base of Vise.
Movable Jaw. Hole down the center is for a captive nut. The captive nut should spin but will allow for the movable jaw to be moved forward and backward
Movable Jaw clamp. Use machine screws to connect the movable jaw to the movable jaw clamp
Knob for the end of the threaded rod. Insert a nut into the bottom of the knob, then fix the knob to the threaded rod
Step 1) Insert 1st nut into the hexagonal hole in the vise base. Use an adhesive to glue the nut in place
Step 2) Insert 2nd nut into the hexagonal hole in the bolt knob, again use an adhesive to glue the nut in place.
Step 3) Place 3rd nut in the center hole of the moveable jaw.
Step 4) Insert two small machine screw nuts into the captive nut slots in the movable jaw. Place the moveable jaw in the vise base and fasten the movable jaw to the movable jaw clamp using the two machine screws.
Step 5) Place Loctite on the end of the threaded rod. Thread the threaded rod into the nut inserted into the bolt knob. Once the Loctite has set on the knob, thread the rod through the nut in the back of the vise base. Add Loctite to the other end of the threaded rod and thread the nut inside the moveable jaw.
