Great work. These look lovely. I am going to try print a few in ABS and hope my dishwasher likes them ;)

why does my slicer doing stuff like that?

never seen it before. did you scale it somehow? could you post your settings?

no didnt scaled it just downloaded and put it into simplify

What S3D version do you use?

let me check

EDIT: I confirm S3D 4.1.1 does slice it like you describe. I have posted a question on S3D support forum: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12487

I would revert to 4.1 and test it but I don't know how to download it ...

I confirm, there is a "problem" (I don't dare to say "bug") in 4.1.1 for this model.
I've checked the integrity of stl in Netfabb, no bug in it.
This problem is not present in S3D 4.0.1 or CURA 3.3.1
Problem occurs if one of those options is selected for start points : Use random start point OR Optimize start point.
I set manually the start at the middle of the bed (150,150) and problem disapears.
Everyone will draw the conclusion he wants.
Mine is clear.

ah ok thx for your effort

These are beautiful, printed the https://www.thingiverse.com/download:3333756 and it came out perfectly in Cura's Spiralize Outer Contour mode first time.

Amazing work, thanks for sharing

Cool design, but I noticed the file is solid on the inside. Is there a file to make this an actual bowl?

Use Vase mode setting in your slicer. No top layers, no infill

What slicer do you use? Every slicer has Vase mode setting.

Cura engine: look for Spiralize Contour

sorry for late reply. yes it needs to be solid because it's designed for Vase Mode printing. Printing this object in normal mode will result in not-so-good looking print. When I have spare time, I will create a normal model, but I would not print it, this is looking stunning :)

I noticed the same ... these bowls designed as an actual bowl for the lower end printer (like my prusa i3) would be amazing. Great collection. Too bad I cannot use them ... let me know if you come up with some actual bowls model. i do not have the Vase Mode printing :(
Thanks for sharing anyway.

It is for every printer. What slicer software do you use? I printed it on $400 DIY printer, i don't even have Prusa :-)
