These keyboard mounts are used in C64 II housing (the flat one) - not in the breadbin shapes housing - if the inner cover made of sheet metal is missing. Recently some new housings where produced from the old molds. Especially for those housings the mounts are useful.

Any recommendations on how to print this? It would seem to me it would be better off split into two objects, left and right, each able to be rotated - one of them not flying off the bottom of the printplate from the beginning?

btw "C64 II" is called C64c :-)

Great thanks. I built this yesterday - other builders might want to know that they will need one extra screw to get this mod to work, as the right side build, the original screws for the C64 is too short. So get one that is 3-5mm longer that the current ones, and it will fit just fine.
