The shoe is called Flex-Z, which is designed for the purpose of maximizing flexibility of the shoe and enhance efficiency. With the limitation of PLA plastic printing filament, most 3D printed shoe design does not provide comfort wear. However, the goal of this shoe is to target audience as many as possible. Therefore, it is unisex and size-adjustable for different ages.
The best printing orientation is to print the sole side way with the Z-stretchy part laying flat on the platform.
The best print orientation is to lay the strip side way also so it will result a flat surface of the strips on both sides.
I scaled the sole to 255 mm inh y-direction in Cura for size US 9 and 96 mm in x-direction for the front strip and 108 mm in x-direction for the back strip.
