I have a thing to build, with 2020 extrusions and the m4 bolts and t slot nuts it came with are elsewhere. I do have a box of M3 nuts n bolts, this thing saved me a 100Km round trip, thank you very much.

thanks for these.
the nut is just tight enough that when fitted it holds really well.
works well with a printed 2040 profile. i posted a remix and the m3 slot nut this is a component and it works really well.

Your welcome. Glad it comes handy.

did you assemble a frame using these? I'm planning to do the same myself, just made one and then found yours

Yes, I used it to mount angle brackets and other parts, although frame corners are still straightened by m5 bolt.
See picture (not mine, found via google) http://cdn.instructables.com/FS7/EXPZ/IA57RRTG/FS7EXPZIA57RRTG.LARGE.jpg

Construction is rigid.

thanks, I already have a 450 x 450 x 610 print volume printer designed and being assembled, just waiting for some more nuts and bolts and bearings :) actually building on 2040

I'm running on Radds 32 bit, also I dont use any smooth rods or belts at all, all on mini v wheels

the print parted isn't actually strong enough, I'm using M5 nuts and bolts and its working out very well and solid

Glad I could help
