The Grand Army of the Republic, the veteran's organization for loyal Untied States soldiers who fought in the American Civil War, marked their members' graves with bronze stars. These markers stand on stakes and hold a typical stick-flag. And most interestingly, it is against the law to remove those markers from a veteran's grave.
This 3D file helps solve that for collectors and Civil War geeks. Now you can print a GAR marker for yourself and display the reproduction proudly without desecrating a grave. Or if a local grave has lost its maker, you might use this model in conjunction with a backyard foundry to replace it yourself.
