Hi Ranon,

This looks incredible. And amazingly fast.

There are two reasons that the leg brackets have been separate parts for a while. First, it makes it easier to 3D print them without support, and second I generally print everything in PLA except for the leg brackets which are printed in ABS.

It is good that you have made the bracket at the top of the main frame thicker. That bracket sometimes splits when I drill it out to fit the suspension shaft. However, a cotter pin must pass through the base of that bracket to hold the suspension shaft so the base of the bracket cannot be too wide. I have planned to make the top of the bracket wider to strengthen it but keep the base narrow so the cotter pin can clip on easily.

Very nice to see this,

Hi Chris,

Thank you!

I thought that by combining the leg brackets to the main frame some print time and weight could be shaved off. I have actually printed the main frame and camera housing bed, which were mostly successful except for an error in the top bracket which Mathew thinks may have been due to the heated print bed.

I also see what you mean with the top bracket, the cotter pin isn't going to work with it being tapered the whole way up.

Thanks for the feedback and I'll keep updating!
