The Geneva Wheel is a simple mechanic base unit for converting a continuous rotation motion into an intermittent rotary motion. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geneva_wheel Its used in clocks and similar mechanics.

We lasered it from 4mm cottonwood plywood. Assembled with a few M3 screws. Scale as needed to fit the screews that you have around.

We use QCAD our drawings. You can use QCAD (lnx, win, mac) to manipulate it. There is a free version for all platforms. http://www.qcad.org/http://www.qcad.org/

Hi! I love this design. I want to make it on my mill but I can't load that file into Sketchup. I can trace the JPG files but is there a better program I should be using to manipulate DXF?

You need a .stl file for us makerbot junkies :)

I just posted a printable one yesterday.
