This is a mount plate for a Ring Pro doorbell that I remixed from one for the original Ring. I wanted the Ring Pro to mount straight vertically (to get the best angle with its camera) and also wanted it to be supported at the bottom. This one fits the smaller Ring Pro size, has a hole placed to fit the new wiring location, added holes for the screws to mount through, and also was fit to the size of my siding.

You will need longer screws for this. I went to Ace and grabbed long finishing screws. They were slightly too big for the Ring Pro hole, but they fit with a little extra force. (YMMV and take care.)

Can I purchase the ring doorbell pro mount in black? If so, how much will it be, and how soon can you get it to me?

Thank you

I would like to purchase one or two of these in black. Would you be willing to make them for me?

which versions of the ring doorbell will this work with? Will it fit the Ring Video Doorbell 2 and also the pro version?

Awesome! I had been looking for something like this for my home. The mount works perfectly. I drilled pilot holes with a 5/64" bit and found some #4-40 x 2" machine screws at Home Depot to attach it to the wall.

Do you mind sharing with me the dimensions of the siding this is made for? The dimensions of my vinyl siding is 4 inches for height and 5/8 inch for depth.. would this work?

I'll try to remember to measure tonight. You may get a decent approximation from the photo I have on this thing with the Ring Pro installed.

Thats actually a good idea.. but after you mentioned that it occured to me that I can add your STL to Tinkercad and make measurements using the ruler option there. This is the first time using it so it was not pretty, but I think the measurements work for me! thanks for sharing this awesome piece

How wide is the vinyl siding?

This looks awesome.

What measurement are you looking for? Height of the slat, or depth before the next slat? Width would be horizontal. It's probably easiest to just print out one of these and see how yours lines up. The Ring Pro is likely shorter then your slat.

The height of my siding is approximately 5".

I didn't think about the siding issue when I bought my Ring Pro. Looks great on vertical brick - didn't think about the angled siding issue.

Your design looks clean and sturdy.

How can I buy 2 of these in black?

Do you have a version that can angle it to the right by about 30 degrees?

Sorry, no. But it shouldn't be to hard to do. I use a site called Tinkercad for this sort of thing. Take my STL, load it into a new tinker, then you can either add a shape on top and trim it down with hole shapes or take a hole shape and angle it and then trim off part of my shape. Good luck!
