This is a modification of Drawcut's spur gears for the (old style) Printrbot extuder. The large gear has been skeletonized in a manner reminiscent of a watchmaker's topping tool and the small gear has been beefed up inside the trapped nut with a flat spot for the motor shaft.

I had to open up the hole for the hobbed bolt and shave down the hexagonal sides of the head of the bolt to get it to fit when printed in "Antique Bronze" by Shapeways, but that might not be a problem if printed in a nylon.

What printer do you use? It's not FDM

In the instructions I noted these were printed by Shapeways. The large gear in "Matte Antique Bronze", the small gear in nylon.

Oh, I missed it.

So, even Shapeways's printers print incorrect internal dimensions that smaller original ones. Very strange...

Honestly I can't say how close their printed dimensions were to the original model's specs on the large gear because I kept all of the original functional specs from Drawcut's models. On the small gear, I did resize the hole to exactly 5 mm diameter with a 0.5 mm relieved flat spot and did not allow any clearance in the model as you would for any "real world" manufacturing of mated parts. Probably a hundredth of a millimeter or two would've been plenty.
