I have Z Braces installed and printed some of these, I managed to install the 4 at the side of the Z brace part.. But you can't install them on the Z tower because it causes it to rock forwards and backwards if you do.. It seems to have worked with just 4 though.

I see these are recommended in TPU, but as I am completely new to 3D printing, I don't have anything else than PLA yet.
Can these be printed in PLA also, or would they fail?

I used pla and added a rubber pad to the bottom... my printer is sitting on sound insulation, but these feet were more than perfect for gaining extra height to fit a Raspberry Pi underneath. Many thanks to the creator :)

They won't fail but they won't give the desired effect. The reason for TPU is the rubber material acts as a vibration damper, reducing sound and prevents the printer from moving across the table due to any vibrations. If you print from a solid material like PLA they will give no benefit.

For the record, I use these feet on my Maker Select v2 (not the plus model) and I printed them in PLA. I wasn't as interested in the damping effect as much as something a bit better than the rubber feet that came with the Maker Select v2 which were always falling off. I added felt to the bottom of these for padding and sound isolation. They work just fine in PLA for that role.

I had to remix the front feet to work with my Z braces but otherwise these are simple and great. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. I guess you meant PLA rather than TPU in the last sentence. :)
I will try TPU/flexible materials when I get a little more 3D printing experience and confidence.

I did indeed. Apologies, corrected.

What's the diff between versions?

The gap is slightly bigger
