i want the tiny one!!!! do you have the files for thatone?

Does anyone know what the length of the M10 bolt should be?

Test printed a small one and the shoulders are too fat to fit through the frame top and bottom! Also the wishbones don't fit through the claws.
I was successful enough in improvising and attaching them on the outside with my 3d pen, but the whole thing is not quite symmetrical.
I am pretty happy with the finished product, but I'm a bit dubious about printing a full size one if the pieces aren't likely to fit together nicely. I'm sure I couldn't have scaled it down unevenly?

Great model though! Thanks :)

If someone has the bolt sizes I will draw them up in Fusion and upload the files for printing of all the connectors. I don't see the point in printing the claw and not the bolts!

i dont see bolt sizes needed ?

Print them off and go to your local bolt supplier.

What did you use instead of the wishbones?
They're not showing on your black claw

Hi Da,

I cut the wishbone down, the long sections are really tight and the printer that I used wasn't that accurate. So i just kept half the wishbone to keep the spacing.

Do you have a DXF file for the project? I would love to build one for an arduino project i am doing.

Well done.

Your video made everything very clear and easy to follow.

Consider writing instruction manuals as a career. :)

I backed the kickstarter and it's a very nice functioning arm, daren't lose it if my multi rotor was to fly away

Where did you find the original cnc files? Any chance you could release a 2d vector version for laser cutting? Thanks!

Click on the YouTube video and go to the description

What are the screw sizes used here if I not scaling it up or down? Printing straight from the file.

Check the video, I took the parts in to a bolt supplier and they just did the best fit

What did you use to convert the files? The splines in the original drawings seem to give my tools problems...

It was a 2d drawing in auto cad, used autocad to extrude it. The lines were a little dodgy.

OK. I pulled it into Autodesk Fusion 360 and managed to adjust it.

Should try to add emmett's pin library to avoid screws.

Could this be made with a 3-armed version?

hey much thanks for converting the file from cnc to an stl format.

All good, took a bit to fix the line work, but I got there.

You need to print 10 claws

Just the 10 claws and that's it for duplicating the claw?

what are your printer settings that you are running, (sorry if mentioned in video, didnt watch the whole thing) also what plastic are you running?

The one in the video is laser cut plastic, Im printing one now in PLA. If your going to use it outside I would print in ABS.
20% infil, 216oC, 0.1mm height

Your project need to be on the top page !
That's Awesome

The youtube video creator made the designs, I just converted them from CNC laser cut designs to 3d models.
