You probably won't see this but I have few questions before I waste material.

Does this holds the beers good , did you tested it? Also do you think it would work with 4 mm plywood because I can't cut 6 mm with my machine really.

Kudos for good looking design :)

Hi David, the beer crate was used and it does hold well. I wouldn't use 4 mm material or you need to come up with an alternative idea for the rails that carry the weight.

Thank you for your answer, you saved me some material with this.
Sorry I forgot to comment right away.

So it looks like you used nails to affix the rails to the bottom of the 'vertical', did you glue or nail the ring layers to their base/rails?

First I did glue the rails on. Then I wasn't sure if the glue alone would be strong enough as it has to carry the complete weight of the bottles. So I wanted to enforce the structure with nuts an bolt, but the screw-heads would have been to big for the small rails. As I already made some holes for the screws I could hammer in a few larger nails. Then I used a hacksaw to shorten them appropriate.
I haven't had on-road tests yet ... ;)

Any chance of making the parts separate STL files? I don't have a CNC machine, but I can 3D print it. :)

I am really not sure if PLA or ABS would be strong enough. Furthermore there are probably very few printers around which can print the required size (18 cm x 28 cm / 7" x 11")

ok, fair enough. Strong enough, I think, but size might be an issue for many.

Thanks and great design!
