Excellent design but is it really a safe toy for a baby? The principle of power generation when a baby swings this will be the same as a set of nunchuks which can turn human bone into powder. Not saying that the baby will powder your leg or anything but this could cause a huge amount of damage when a baby swings it as the chain leaves nowhere for the force to return to once the ball end strikes a target.
I love the look of the design though.

My bad, it's for daddy.

Love this! Should go great with my mace. Is the flail head designed to fit to the flair chain? This would make sense, but I can't tell from the pictures. I wanted to be able to print the ball without support.

Yes. It attaches to the smaller of the two ends. That's why I gave both choices, one to print without support (hollow) and the other if you don't plan on putting anything in it. I printed the 2 pieces and after a good "vapor bath" it's seamless.
