This printable telescope features a collapsible OTA into a cakebox form that protects the optics, and a dobsonian mount that can be set up and ready for stargazing in less than 5 minutes. The OTA is also compatible with any other Vixen clamp mounts and the dovetail is also included inside the files.
3 Folders are available for download: OTA, OTA supports and Telescope Mount. The OTA prints the optical tube where the mirrors and critical scope contents are housed. The OTA supports feature the parts needed to hold the Makerbeams and secure them onto the OTA. The Telescope Mount is optional if you have your own tripod and mount, but is needed for new scope owners.
Assembly of the Hexonian 6 requires several different M4 screw lengths (15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 40mm), and nuts as well as M3 screws of 15mm and 20mm. One M6 screw of 45mm and 2 M6 nuts are required for the mount turntable. 5x Makerbeams of 10x10x500 are needed for the tube assembly, and 4x Makerbeam of 10x10x300 for the mount. The mount would require a printer that can print in dimensions of 250x250mm.

Please purchase the 60mm rack and pinion focuser here:
(For smoother focusing, i recommend better quality focusers found on the internet. However, due to budgetary constraints, we used the cheapest possible one and made the adaptor for it to fit.)

40% - 50% for most support parts
A 250x250mm print size is needed for printing the mount base and the cross bars of the Dobsonian Mount. Otherwise, a regular 200x200mm printer is sufficient for the OTA and OTA support parts.
