The design

Many have been complaining about the old Tevo Tarantula motor mount being too flexible. I didn't have any issues with the old one but wanted to firm up the whole printer so I designed this motor mount.

It works with Nema dampers as well.

Thanks for making this. The original broke overnight after tightening so I'm printing this with my other printer.

How much infill do you suggest? Thanks!

Why Are the holes on the other side from the motor so big ? There is nothing to grab on to on that side. I;m new to cad, so how is the best way to fox this and keep it all lined up? Thanks for any advice on that.

because you can access the screws with screwdriver

Print this on it's side, why not upright?

No one is saying you should print it on the side. Thingiverse doesn't let you rearrange the models so it ends up however it wants. Usually people have enough common sense to see what the best position is. But unfortunately, sometimes they don't

Sometimes there are people who are not aware that thingiverse rearranged the orientation of the stl file and thought maybe the person who uploaded it just didn't know what they were doing.

I had to do a little filling to make the holes for the motor fitting. Not sure whether this is because of my printer or because of the model.

It's because of the printer. You should try to calibrate it.
