Made for my toolbit holder http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1665746 but can surely be used for something else as well.

Comes with 2 lids:

  • Snug fit: Exact fit (requires well adjusted printer)
  • Loose fit: Has some extra space at hinges. Also its much easier to print. I recommend to start with this lid.

I printed the lid with 50% infill and transparent filament and all hinges broke of. Snug fit, fit tho. Just not stable enough

If the hinges break it is very likely because the temperature is not dialed in for that particular filament. There are many guides how to find the optimal temperature that provided the best strenght.

How much infill did you use in your Print? I do love the box. It's a great design.

I normally go with 10-20%.
You can dip the hinges shortly in boiling water to soften them while assembling.
