Do you think you could fit a Titan Aero on this carriage?

The answer to this question is no. No room for the heatsink and since it's significantly shorter than a V6 and Titan, at the very least it rules out the BLTouch. I wasn't thinking it through earlier lol!

What offsets did you guys use for the Marlin firmware for the BLTouch???

Great Design, best direct drive I have seen so far. Minus the fact that you can't access all 4 screws on the titan without taking apart the carriage. and redoing the bolts and belts. That kinda sucks.

Yeah, it can be a little inconvenient if you need to take it apart. I've done it without taking the belt clamp off, only the lower wheel bolt. You could extend the titan bracket 5mm at the base and it would clear, but that 5mm extension eats into the already somewhat limited Y travel.

what volt do you set your stepper driver to??? i got a i just got a Nema 17 Bipolar Step Motor 3.5V 1A 18.4oz.in but not sure if my dvr8825 set to .55 volts would be too much

On the DRV8825, motor current is double the voltage reference, so yes, 0.55 volts is too high. You'll need to turn it down to 0.5 or lower in order to keep below your stepper's 1A current rating. Just a quick FYI.. Marlin 1.1.0-RC8 makes it VERY simple to get the BL Touch working. You just have to uncomment the BLTOUCH define and pick your probe points.

I have this printed and working very well with my d-bot. The BLTouch mount is perfect!

I am indeed using a RAMPS board for now, the configuration.h that I included is for repetier 0.92 with auto bed leveling enabled on a RAMPS using the BLTouch.

If I have problems with Marlin I may use your configuration.h and move to Repetier. Thank you.

minor note to those using this on the cbot frame the extruder carriage is slightly different in the dbot so you will need to print the back plate of the dbot in addition to this ;)

I printed mine in PET ( will post a make once its mounted and cabled ). feels pretty sturdy nice work!

Where did you get that smaller extruder motor?

E3D/Filastruder both sell it as well, so you can order it when buying the extruder assembly.

Have you had any issues with just 13N/cm of torque with that stepper?

It perfectly suited for a geared extruder and lowers the amount of weight carried on the Z beam, and cheaper stepper, and better suited to handle flex and semi-flex filament

It's a Win-Win-Win-Win.

None - it works great and is an E3D recommended item. The gearing helps a lot - using 1.75mm filament probably helps a fair bit too.
