Combined 2 different DL-44 files found here on Thingiverse to try and get the proportions a little more to scale. See "Remixed Files" section for source files.
Since this was made by combining two different source files, the flash suppressor doesn't fit snug on the barrel. You will need to find a way to affix securely. I used one of the unused knobs and drilled a hole in the center to use as a washer / retainer. Then took a long screw and secured at the end of the barrel through the front of the flash suppressor.
NOTE: The finished print examples were printed 3/4 sized for my son. Files provided are full size.
Special thanks to Smirf123 & seankfields for published files which allowed me to put this together.

Printed with a high infill because I wanted to make it heavy. Should be able to print with less infill.

Hey. Can someone tell me how much this whole thing weights? If possible in grams.
Unfortunately I only have the .stl This part was originally from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1503525 . May want to contact that creator.
Great job combining the models! If you don't mind me asking, how did you post-finish this piece? Spray paint then spot paint the silver on? Thanks!
Thanks. Used different techniques for different parts. The body & scope was sprayed with a base black then gun blue finish on top then added silver weathering. Scope mount was sprayed with silver base then masked areas I wanted to be chipped then sprayed flat black. Flash hider was a base of silver then added black weathering / wash then added some rust using dry brush. Grips were printed with wood filament then stained.
I have some problems with top.stl.
I want to divide the piece into two parts to be able to print it well, but when I edit it in Solidworks it gives me gometry errors, as if it were a single block with no faces or edges.

Really nice job with the meshing of the different designs. I made one and am very happy with the results. Still cleaning up the paint, not very happy with my first go round of getting the weathered look. (So far it just looks more chipped than worn). I did drop a couple of plastic lenses into the scope to give it the illusion of functionality. Pics to follow when I'm happier with my painting skills.
Great Job
I see you have my Ray's blaster in the background of one of the pictures
Thanks. Yup...posted pics here :) http://www.thingiverse.com/make:248777
I think it may be your design.
