This mount is designed for use with "Compact Bowden Extruder, direct drive 1.75mm" by Schlotzz. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:275593) on the Anet A8 Prusa i3 clone. It may work with other printers such as the OMNI M505, etc.

This mount is placed high enough on the machine that you can easily put the acrylic spool stand that came with the printer underneath it.

The part is not actually curved as shown in the picture, the print lifted during the initial prototype, however the warpage did not affect the final dimensions. I have already fixed the location of the hold down for the Z-axis rod.

Designed to use the spare 18mm M3 screws and M3 nuts included with the printer.

You are welcome to modify this part to suit other bowden setups.

Please post an "I made it!" If you print this, I would love to see how it works out for everyone else.

Can someone please remix it to fit the P802?

Hello, this looks great. Do you know if there will be any interference with this brace?

Anet A8 Brackets to Reduce X-Axis Motion
by Leo_N

Hello! By the looks of it, there should not be any interference between those brackets and the bowden extruder mount. I designed it to match up as close to the original plate as possible. Hope this helps!

will this fit the Anet A6?

i have made a remix for the A6

Anet A6 Bowden Extruder Mount

Unfortunately I do not own an A6 that I could test it on myself, but by looking at pictures of it on the internet I would say it does not look like it would fit.

Hi there. Would it be possible to get the original file for this so that I can modify it just a little bit? This part does not fit with the frame stiffeners installed. I need to move the mount back about 5mm. Thank you!

Disregard. I just realized that there was a remix for the exact issue I was encountering. Thank you!

I could only find the plate. Where is the motor mount?

The extruder (motor mount) is listed in the description.

can I get the file for the mount you have on side of it top plate is awesome thank you

Sorry for the slow reply, are you referring to the bowden extruder that is attached to this? http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:275593

I have it linked in the description already.
