Flexible pin connector segments to work with tbuser's Toy Robot Toolkit. I created these in my marionette quest, and while useless for my marionette, they might be useful in a myriad of other applications.

Neither of these designs is a direct derivative of Zomboe's, Landru's or Emmett's work - but they are certainly inspired - so I'm spreading the derivative love all around.

If you're working with solid modeling, you'll find a rebuilt, solid version of tbuser's basic pin & hole negative buried in the CAD file.

Print your favorite pin. Both varieties are fairly stable in ABS, but aren't indestructible.

I saw you're interested in elastic springy-thingies... I don't have a 3D printer (yet) but I thought of making breathable backpack straps - plushyness and bendability through intricate structure. I could use sponge but the idea is to minimize contact area and let the air breeze through as much as possible.

I'm planning on making a messenger bag entirely out of recycled stuff like billboard PVC, and 3D printed bits and such.

Oh god, I am going to have entirely too much fun with these. :)

Oh gawd you are having entirely too much fun with these. (Just saw the dalek video)
