So after trying it out and talking to a Kawasaki tech it’s a good upgrade but you need to make it with 100% infill otherwise it might crack or the layers will separate, especially if you are on the heavy side, and also, one of the proud versys owner should design a little adapter that goes on both sides of the seat further down, because after installling this upgrade the latch at the front of the seat is only resting on the 3D printed part and not on the frame itself, two little risers should be made to fit where the frame is soldered together near the middle of the seat, I’ll take some measurements and do it as soon as I can
But... as a functional item itself, it does work and is useful if you want to get away from the fuel tank to drag the knee ;)

I installed these on my Versys 650 and the front of the seat was very loose and wobbly. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, it opened a sizeable gap that would allow lots of rain/spray into the battery compartment.

Apparently you also need new bolts:

"The bolts are 6mm x 45mm flange head cap screws"
