ciao, fatto il lampioncino molto bello , perche non disegni un supporto che stia in piedi una volta finito grazie

Is it possible to use this design to print for OO gauge? I am a newbie in this field, making some investigations before I buy a 3D printer.

You probably can scale it back for OO gauge, but you'd have to use SMD LEDs for lighting, regular LEDs like 3mm diameter would be far to big for that scale.

Thanks for prompt reply. SMD LEDs make sense indeed for this scale. As I would want to make my own designs as well, might I ask what software you are using? In any case, this is a fantastic design I (hopefully) will be able to use on my layout - with or without LEDs.

Thanks for the compliment! When you have them on the layout, please share a picture of it :)

I'm using various programs, if it's rather simple I use OpenSCAD, if it's more complicated I tend to use Fusion360. During the design process I keep in mind how I can print it, to prevent very nice, but unprintable designs.

Hi, do you have Some reccomeded sluier settings? Ik keep having issues with THE infill between THE inner and outher perimiter. I end up with a flimsy Holow object

The settings for my print is:
Layer height: 0.1mm
Shell thickness: 0.8mm
Bottom thickness: 0.6mm
Nozzle size: 0.4mm

Is that enough information for you?

Fantastic, i will try it first thing this evening. Thank you

Thank you for this model.
It is the reason I started to deal with the topic 3d-printing.

Thank you for your comment :)
I will try to disclose more interesting g-scale models in the near future.

Very nice design. Is there a second file for the other half? Thanks

Hi TrackSide3D, you get the other half by mirroring the file on the axis of the pole.
