Coockie dough cutters that gives close to zero vasted dough.
Shape: Christmas three, interacting with itself. (Filename "juletre")
Penrose tiling, Set of Kite and Dart.
A friend of mine asked me to make him some coockie dough cutters based on different tesselations to avoid a lot of vasted dough inbetween the individual coockie shapes. In the end we ended up with two different concepts.
One christmas three shape that interacts with itself upsidedown.
Penrose tileing, with two shapes: Kite and Dart. I suggest a quick wikipedia search for penrose tileing for the interested.
Have included Solidworks 2008 files and STL files.
Pictures and link to my friends blog post to be included later.
