Here's a a little design I made up a year ago for 3d printing. The scale here is meant for 1/4 scale dollhouses, that is 1:48 inch scale.
The design is classic 1980's. You can still find this schtuff in thrift stores, and it's still being manufactured for use in hotels, resorts, and cruise ships. It's gentle curves are receptive to frequent reupholstering to allow endless updates as time goes by.
You can print this out as is in 1/4 inch scale, or resize to fit your needs for 1/2 inch houses, or any of the scales available here on thingiverse.
Guess what! I even printed 1:144th scale versions on my UP! printer with the .2 mm setting. 1:144th inch scale is dollhouse-for-a-dollhouse scale. Very tiny!
For 1:12 (full dollhouse scale): scale the file 400%
for 1:18 scale (castle playset scale): scale the file 266.667%
For 1:24 scale(half inch scale): scale the file 200%
for 1:25.4 scale (cube farm playset scale): scale the file 188.976%
(note, this set is perfect for an office lounge!)
for 1:144 scale (dollhouse for a dollhouse scale): scale the file 33.333%
