I recently bought a rubber band loom from the store and decided that it could easily be modeled. I modeled this after the LaRose rubber band loom but made significant changes to it. This is only half the length of the original but is expandable so you should put 2 together to get the original length or put many together to make longer creations.
The round connector was the easiest thing I could think of to make in tinkercad to link these however it may not be the best choice. If anybody has any better ideas let me know and I can change it.

I do not have my printer yet so I can't print one to have pictures but if anybody prints one please post pictures of it.

UPDATE: I have changed the size of the peg that is used to link these together. It is now smaller and hopefully will link together better.

This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://tinkercad.com/things/2Wc9LJG0f4f

Print two to get the length you need and connect together.

I appreciate that you attempted to adjust the pieces to fit but it is still not quite right. I still had to file quite a bit to get to fit but just in the corners and then there is a significant gap around the top where you made it too small - when you resize you need to make sure all the aspects are changing equally. I tried to post what I made but thingiverse is not letting me post the images when I select "I made one". If you email me at [email protected] I will send you the images.

I had to file for an hour and finally got two of these prints to connect together but I still want to print more - presents to my grandkids for Christmas. If you could adjust the size so that it is a better fit, that would be great. Other than that this is a great remix and printed off great for me at medium resolution; 4 shells and 10% infill.

Yes, mine don't fit together either. the puzzle connectors don't fit and those are too far off to even sand - I think but I will give that a try. Can you either make one larger or the other end smaller (just an incremental size adjustment would probably work).

I made one of these on my Replicator 2X and the posts don't form like the picture of the model in Makerware. Has anyone successfully made one on a makerbot? I think it is trying to grow supports around the individual posts.

The posts are spaced a bit far apart, the posts and the slots in them are a bit small, but the biggest problem is that when printed, the pieces do not fit together at all

Can you take pictures? I am interested to see it posted as a make. Do you have a micrometer of some sort? Can you measure the posts and slots and spacing and post your measurements?
