This is a different version of my other ribbon cable support
This one is easier and faster to print, and unlike the other, requires almost no support. While the angled design may be slightly better-suited to rear-mounted spools, I almost always feed from overhead rack or shelf-mounted spools, and the vertical design is better for that. It's also much better-suited when the Z-Mon filament monitor is used, clipped to the ribbon cable.
Since it's a snap-on design, it has to flex a bit, and it's fun to print it in something like Phoenix nylon, which is almost rubbery (the black ones in the photos). That said, I've printed it in the most rigid PLAs and that works fine as well. The orange and gold prints in the photo are colorFabb PLA/PHA.
