Summary

This is the enhancement of Dancing Bob. Hoping that it will be more funs to play and built. It operates in three modes - auto piloting with ultrasonic distance sensor to avoid obstacle in front , Android phone controlling and dancing (as Dancing Bob does). See the video demos for how it works.

Electronics:
1) this Arduino board or others you prefer.
2) Two 18650 Lithium-ion battery in parallel as the board with voltage step-up regulator.
3) 4 x low cost Tower Pro 9g servo.
4) Ultrasonic distance sensor HC-SR04, this is optional if you don't want obstacle dectection.
5) SPP-C Bluetooth UART or equivalent for Andriod phone control, this is optional if you don't play with Android phone.

Hardware:
1) Dupoint wires
2) M2x6 and M2x4 tapping screws
3) Battery metallic spring (optional if you use battery pack likes we do)

Software:
1) Arduino code on githup.
2) Android app on Google Play (optional).

Wring:
Connections to GPIO pins are as following -

1) D3 to YR servo
2) D4 to RR servo
2) D5 to RL servo
3) D6 to YL servo
2) D8 to HC SR04 trigger pin
3) D9 to HC SR04 echo pin
4) HC SR04 power input to the board 5V output and GND pins
5) D11 bt state
6) D12 dancing mode state
6) Bluetooth UART module to the board's Bluetooth connector

All servos initial angles must set to 90°.

How to play:
D11 and D12 are used to select the playing mode. When D11 and D12 are low which are connected to GND. Armor bob is on auto piloting mode. In this mode, walking direction are randomly changed in every 5 sec. In walking forward, the ultrasonic distance sensor detects obstacle at the front and will avoid it (back off and turn away).

When D12 is high state (connected to 3.3V pin), it is on dancing mode as playing likes Dancing Bob

When D11 is high state, it is controlled by the Android phone, the Bluetooth UART must be installed. To control by the App, firstly pair the Bluetooth UART with your Android phone. On app screen tap 'Bluetooth' to select it, then tap the arrow buttons to control it.
