A remixed nightlight based on the great design by jjpowelly (Thing 905142). This remix features a reworked enlarged case to host a plug, an Arduino to control the RGB LEDs as well as touch sensors to adjust the brightness and switch between a potpourri of light effects.
You can see the nightlight in action in this video on YouTube.
Detailed build instructions in this Nightlight Late-Night Edition blog post.
NB: This project powers electronic components (5V) with a mains supply circuit (230V > 5V) that is connected to a power plug (230V). If you are going to build this, make sure that you know what you do especially with respect to voltage insulation. In case of doubt, consult a skilled person or remix the design to directly use an unaltered line adapter or batteries.

No need to print the plate with dual extrusion. Just print the plate and the inlay. Then use a rasp to make the parts that are printed together with the plate fit into the inlay. After that press the parts into the plate.
