I made one, but the screw holes were too far apart, wire cutters fixed that as I clipped one end off. This did make feeding of filament smoother but in the end I removed so i could fit an extrude fan hinge instead, which made changing filament and maintenance easier.

Thank you for making and sharing.

So disappointed! Do not fit with 2017 Anet, please modify title!

Pls say int the summary that this model is to the old Anet A8

Anet A8 Filament Guide - ReFit
Filament Guide for Anet A8 2017

Had "whole distance problems" too. So i reworked it to 18mm whole distance (center to center) for my A8.
Here is the link with stl and f3d file if anyone needs other distances.. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2302946

I got a 404 on your link

I would suggest chopping the model into two separate parts so that the holes in each line up vertically, then you can simply super-glue the parts together. Secondly, it would allow you to position the guide directly over the nozzle intake if it wasn't already.

Feel free to rework it; it's CC.

I chopped the model and ended up having to re-position the guide relative to it's base anyway. It's working great thus far, and thanks for the model!

I printed one, the funnel lined up but the right hand screw hole was off a bit. Nothing a little filing didn't take care of.

Thanks for posting the file.

In Cura I printed it out at 93% and the holes lined up. The funnel doesn't line up with the extruder but I don't think that's a huge deal. It would be nice though.

A few people have had scaling issues. I have to say I had none, and the funnel does line up. What version of Cura are you using?

I use Cura 2.4.

I should clarify that the funnel doesn't line up after scaled it.

Comments deleted.

In metric slicers like mine, I had scale the object by 25400% to get accurate results.

I changed the in its of measurements from mm to meters and that seems to have worked

Also had to scale to print properly
.

Had to scale up to 91000.00% in Simplify3D to fit.

Print turned out well...its worth mentioning that the holes didnt line up perfectly. I had to file one a bit wider to line up.

Also, I'll need longer screws...

Same issue. Holes didn't line up. Measured: I have distance of 17.5mm between them, but the model has 20mm.
Also I don't have the long screws.
