Hi Peter,
Thanks for your comments. The bottom plate on my one is not 3D printed. I used a sheet of hard plastic for this and cut it to the shape of the printed canopy. The arms meet in the centre and press against each other.
These are the arms I used;

The canopy attaches to the frame by 3 holes. One at the front and 2 at the rear sides. The inside of the canopy has 3 pockets to slide M3 nylock nuts into. The plastic base plate has to be drilled for those.

I would take more photos and show you, but I unfortunately lost the drone on Sunday when I was out flying! :(

This looks too awesome! I was actually going to design something like this. Are you going to share the custom cut bottom plate design as well? And do the arme meet in the centre?
