Great design. Thanks for your work. Our children love it. Bearings fit perfect in the holes.
Kind regards.

This doesn't work... The bearings can not get in, they just don't fit its very annoying that every fidget spinner design is like this. My bearings are 22 in diameter 608 abec 7. They just about can not get in, like 1 centimeter. Please make your design bigger.

All designs are made for precisely calibrated printers. My print fits with a slight push. Tolerance left is 0.1 mm. If your printer can't hold this tolerance, you should consider calibrating it for extrusion width and flow rate. Every printer is different. You can try sanding it a bit

Most are designed to be hammered in so they dont fall out or shift during spinning. If you can hammer it in try increasing the size by 1 or 2%

when I buy the bearings will it come with the metal rings too? Also how do i figure out which filament to use?

Bearings that are shown in the picture are stock 608ZZ with shields removed. You can use any filament but I would suggest ABS, ASA or PETG. They are more flexible and it will be easier to press bearings in. PLA is fine if you can hold slight press fit, otherwise, it will eventually crack

Of all the spinner designs I found here, this is one of the nicest.

1;Is it better to put bearings around it or just fill it with plastic?
2; Do you know any app or website I could use to print my name on the spinner?

My printer keeps messing up near the small holes how can i fix this?

You can try lowering the temperature a bit and slow down the print. Also using smaller nozzle might help. Can't say more without knowing how does messing up looks like

My wife want to see a couple at her work would that be ok?

I absolutely fine to print it for friends

would you allow me to sell some of these to some friends? Let me know :)

just incase anyone didnt know this takes size 608 bearings

Hey, I was wondering if I could sell these at my school. I am 13 and got my first 3d printer for christmas. When I brought this to my school, everybody wanted this design because it looks really cool. Is there a chance that I could sell these at school? If not, thanks anyway.

When I go to print should I lay the object flat? or print it standing as in the picture?

You can try printing it standing, but flat is preferred.

Those bearing are everywhere, just regular 608ZZ with shields removed. Simple ebay or amazon search will give you tons of results. They are also known as skateboard bearings 8ID 22OD

Can you provide a link to the bearings you bought?

What is the size of the bearing?

Just as I'd hoped - made out of bright orange ABS, THANKS!

kids love these! Thanks for the design.

hey i want to make these and sell them to a few people at my school and my local skating rink. is this ok?

This is my favorite design.. The profile of the outer curves seems spot on to get a fast spin..

I just wish that the 6 triangular 'holes' wern't there as this leads to weakness, especially if dropped..

Any chance we could have a version with the holes removed?

Instead of putting bearings in the outer 3 holes I glued 3 US nickels into each hole to add weight. I would post a picture, but my wife took it and wouldn't give it back. In the process of making another :-)

MangoCats, I tried just filing it down.

Ackij, I sent you a message, please get back to me. Thanks.

For whatever reason, the bearing pressed into the center quite easily, but the three edges were too tight - I was trying to press-fit starting just when the print finished - still hot on the plate.

What size bearings is it made for?

608zz 22mm OD 8mm ID

Toy to keep hands busy while doing something that requires attention. Simple search in google for Fidgets or Fidget toys will help

What is the intended purpose of this? Thanks! :)

It is just a fidget toy. You can spin it while working.
