Just a bit of encouragement, this is a significant work of effort and skill! Good on ya! This will be my longest and first multipart print when its all done. The Helmet pieces have been stellar and print perfectly just as you have them oriented. I'm struggling with the visor, but honestly that is not really a 3D Printer kinda part. Its gonna make it... but.... I learned a bit about temps, print speed, and flow while tuning my printer and the translucent orange filament. My kids are so excited! Unfortunately I have four kids.... I'll get up a final pic when we finish it. THANK YOU for sharing your hard work.

Thanks for this, I greatly appreciate that you took the time to write back with the positives!

I will look if I have size C vacuum form visors, and then if you want to paypal the postage, send them to you. pm me.

Your welcome... and thanks for the visor offer! I'll PM. We're wiring up lights today. First time soldering for my 9 year old and first time plugging LED's into a bread board.

I attempted to print the visor and it was this and weak. Are there different settings that I should try?

Hello, Anyone know what the inside dimensions are? I am looking to make this for a stuffed animal as a prop but I think i need it to be smaller and i prefer not to print it without knowing the dimensions first. I am going to glue it together so that is not a problem with the screws being different.

Thanks

Thanks for the helmet. do you have a stl with the hole helmet, full model, not split in parts?

Modelling the helmet down into parts was a process where it was hollowed out from solid, and pins etc added along the way, so there is no viable single piece model in that history.

cool. thanks for the work!

Umm could you tell me the total print time? and how much filament?

Please read instructions for full size model A and reduce by ~15%

Also see images for size A that have each parts print time.

Also heavily dependent on your slicer settings and printer behavior.

Halo 4 Helmet Full Size A

any chance you could add the individual files. Most of the parts would fit my bed if they were not grouped.

My kids would love this.

All individual parts should already be in the full download of files as separate stl as well as full plates. If anything appears to be missing, please just ping...

Great resize. Wish I did this for Halloween! Andrew (http://3dhacker.com3dhacker.com)
