Summary

I used the 53mm spool adapter from user Kopytko to make hubs for the wheels of a spool racer coaster cart with empty filament spools used for the wheels.

I printed the spool adapter wheel hubs in Inland PLA at 0.2 layer height, 50% fill at 205c on my MP Select Mini printer.

Nice up-cycle job. I was wondering what I might do with my old spools. Wrap some rope around them and they would probably be pretty strong...

Chuck, that is the craziest thing I have seen built in years. You know if you were to turn hard those spools would fold in a heart beat and you would be all over the ground. I want one!!!!!!

It needs a paint job with flames.

No doubt. That was all part of the fun. Would it even work.

Needed some bloopers. Lol. That would have been funny.

Possibly the best thing on this site.

I am glad that the adapters was helpful to, for use as positively crazy idea.
