I just cutted it and it needs some changes. Especcially the USB hole is too small. It should be at least a few millimeters more wide. Anyway thanks for you work, good job!

There is also a second issue: it is not easy to fix the raspberry inside the box.

When we started using Acrylic mounts, we thought that would be an issue too, but surprisingly it hasn't been an issue for any of the projects we've mounted on a baseplate. Might have to do with the screws connecting to the ground plane of the project bleeding off any charge.

Isn't acrylic prone to picking up static electricity (through rubbing, etc...)? Is this safe to hold electronics? Having said that, nice work.

I work for the school of Eletrical and Electronic Engineering at Manchester University, my main job being to design perspex boxes for electronic boards and pcb's. It's totally safe for electronic components.
