I have always wanted to have a pet dragon, and for some reason I envisioned him stumbling around, which in the end only makes him more lovable.

And even though he has a weird shape he should be balanced and still be able to stand.

I have added 2 versions of the pet dragon. One with spikes and one without, being that I don't know if the spikes will be too difficult to print.

  • dragonSpikeHigh1, high res version
  • dragonSpike3, lower res version
  • dragon3, without spikes

Awesome model, but does anyone have tips for slic3r support settings? I already tried twice and both attempts failed mainly on the leg that hangs in the air. :(

my first attempt at this failed. im new to printing and think i need to add more supports to the code when i have it in my software. other than that it is a great design and will post a picture when i have it done correctly.

thank you

Great model! I printed at 120% it was a special request for a deserving person and she loves it!

This little guy is just so damn adorable..I fell in love at first sight!

How was this modled?

This is so adorable! I can't wait to print it out and paint it!

This is a beautiful model. I used it to create a how to video on rendering STL files in http://Clara.iohttp://Clara.io: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SnsxrUFxqIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?...

That is awesome! thanks for sharing!

And send me the file I'll send you money. We can talk about once you get ahold of me my number is 2068539671

Redbeard I really like your dragon. But would it be possible if you could add a joint in his mouth

Downloaded DragonSpike3, looks great on screen, printing now...

did you print this with supports?

I don't really understand how this could be printed without support. Several parts start in the air.

But it is a really beautiful model. Thanks :)

I've actually never printed this. But several people have will great success just the way it is.

Funny, but I would have included wings.

I believe I fix the problem and now the files should be in the correct position.

Apparently I am clumsy too... I have positioned the stl files so the model on his side. I'll put in an update later today with them properly positioned.
