Lesson Plan for Nut and Bolt for Fidgeters 30mm wide x 65mm high. 20 x 2.5 threads designed in Fusion 360.
Must be printed with high resolution setting. Threads will have better tolerances and work smoothly.
Add a little lip balm or wax to threads if they squeak!

Overview and Background
Great STEAM Project for Middle School, and an easy first project for learning Fusion 360. Students will learn the basic tools in Fusion to create a nut and bolt that may also be a fidget toy. The project fosters learning of Geometry, Simple Machines, Metals and Materials, and Engineering. The Art component comes with adding decals, backgrounds, or rendering in Fusion.

Tech requirements for Fusion 360
Windows 64 Bit or Mac computer or laptop. There is a mobile app, but it is only for sharing and markup.
