Summary

My Daughter wanted to be Maka Albarn from Soul-Eater for Halloween.

So I designed and printed a Schythe top and cufflink buttons for her costume.

I used the included image as a design guide and images of the PPP figure for proper scale for her size.

The blade opening was too wide for the blade we made, so I made some shims to help hold it in place.

included in the openscad file so you can re-scale to your size, adjust blade opening and or shims. Adjust shaft opening to your shaft of choice and possibly create jacket buttons.

what size pvc did you use?

Well, I was going to use the plastic shaft from a previous Halloween accessory. The kind you still find on store shelves with red trident heads or other things on top.

But it looked too short. My daughter spied a length of copper pipe I had lying around and it seemed to match her scale close enough. So I used that. (I did need a couple winds of tape to make it snug as I didn't have time to print another...)

You can change the r value in the Shaft() module to match what ever you choose.
