Summary

Working on an Ecig mod for the new dna20 board. I'm still waiting on my dna but I'm printing it out to check the dimensions, using the spec sheet.

I increased the wall thickness to make it easier to print.

Would have been FAR better with a dual battery..... Do you even vape, bro? You put a DNA in there without a duel 18650? wtf man?

This is one of the sickest designs ive ever seen i was trying to find it after i seen the dna30 chip makers on alibaba. com were posting this picture as their mod they were making lol nice to finally find the real mod! great work btw

You bet! I should have something posted in the next couple days. There are a couple fresh SX350 mods recently posted as well and I intend on publishing a 1x and 2x 18650 battery version.

This is an amazing start towards a fully functional DNA 20 or DNA 30 mod that can be printed! There is a consideration that should be noted. If using the dimensions for the full length of the DNA's OLED screen it is important to note that the characters displayed on the screen do not display all the way across it from side to side. The portion of the OLED screen that has the ribbon cable connected to it that runs to the DNA board has a space of a few mm that is completely blank and never has any display elements within it.
So while this design would accomodate the dropping in of the DNA OLED screen into a kind of "cradle" by accomodating the ful length of the screen one will notice the characters displayed once powered up will appear justified or shifted to the side that does not have the ribbon cable. This will give the characters an off center look to them once the DNA board is inserted and powered up. Does that make sense? A way to compensate for this "may" be to create a slot on one side of the screen cradle that allows the OLED screen and ribbon cable that has been "doubled back" upon itself to fit into.

can you make a separate STL for each of the other parts? So if one of the parts messes up I don't have to reprint all of them? Also how are you attaching the top cap? epoxy?

I used a 24 solid copper wire imbedded in the plastic in a U shape.

Then ran that up to the DNA board? Ive got 3 boards laying around and want to test this.

How exactly did you make the negative connection?

Printing one now actually I have 4 dna boards just laying around
