W00t, my design was featured on 'Tested'!:

Note; this thingiverse object is my original, but you'll likely have better results with one of the three derivatives here:

This is a follow on from my previous build on Platonic Solids. It's an implementation of the Fuller Projection: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dymaxion_map
in 3D using 3D printed verticies and laser cut faces.

Note: this is decended from this image here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dymaxion_map#/media/File:Fuller_projection_rotated.svg

What number of screws did you use so I can order them
Jimmy Crawford

hey, what sized m3 screws did you use in this? like the length of the screw

1/2 in to 3/4 in but 1" is too long the brackets make the points hit.

you may get away with 8mm but i used 10mm

10mm will do depending on the thickness of your stock

Super cool! I'm uncertain how you dealt with the 2 triangles that are in two pieces. What means did you use to overcome this in your fabrication?

I like a lot this piece.
How i can get the files for laser cut? Because the DXF file that i have download doesn't look as i expect. (20 faces and different types of lines, for raster or cutting)

Thank you.
