I printed it and love the design. I took the model and changed some of the sizing to where i got a vase design and tall and wider votives. My only question is using an actual candle, I know abs is completely out of the question but I used translucent green pla. Is this safe for an actual flame? I like the look of a real flame over a flickering led.

thank you for your appreciation!
I (and other makers, as showed in the photos) used it with real candles, and it seems to work well with PLA (heat is max on top of the flame, and minimum elsewhere). Of course you have to pay attention and not to leave it unattended.

nice work . do you have others moleds

No. Not yet...

Mine is printing at 29% now, and there is no hole in the middle (not hollow). Does that mean that it is the support part and I have to cut it out after it is done so that I could put the candle in? Thanks!

I figured it out. The first file has no hole, the second one does. So I used the second file and it is awesome. Thank you!

the first model is designed to be printed using the "Spiralize" (in Cura) or "Spiral vase" (in Slic3r), with only bottom infill and no top infill. In Slic3r you can also set the perimeter width to match the desired wall thickness and the result is a very clean and smooth surface, and short printing time.
The second model is designed for printing as usual and/or using systems that don't support spiral mode.

I made several of these in Glow-in-the-Dark ABS for Christmas presents, they were a huge hit. Thanks!

Excellent model! Excellent results on XYZPrinting Da Vinci 1.0 using white filament and the following settings: File, "tealight_1mm_02.stl", 0.200mm Layer Height, Hollow (0% 3D Density), with Raft and no support. Using flameless LED tealights purchased at the craft store, as ABS is quite flammable. Thanks!

Nice job on this model. It printed really well and it looks great.
