Made for my Anet A8 but should work for any printer
this is printed with a support for the 3.5 mm hole for a screw.
only 1 MM thick so it is flexible with PLA.
Prints in 5 min or less.

Excellent performance on the carriage, quite useful! (When used as intended)

Excellent performance under intended conditions, and still excellent performance outside of its normal intended use. Extremely quick and clean print, reasonably sturdy for how thin it is, yet pleasantly flexible.

I routed my hotend cable a different way than the manual shows, and tried to use one of these to hold it off the build plate from the x-motor mount as well. If you try to use it in that manner, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!!! If you don't leave enough slack in the hotend cable, this clip has just enough of a firm grip to let the hotend gut itself when the extruder travels away, and the heater will rip out. This could result in burning your house down.

Hey thanks for the great review.
I am having a difficult time in picturing the way you used this for the hot end cable. Could you upload a make with some pictures.
If I see the issue I may be able to give you a better solution that is still a quick print.
