Trippsy25, Do you possibly still have the original cad file for the Drop riffle? There is a tiny gap between the side wall and the riffles I would like to try and fix...it is printing it separate from the rest of the sluice and causing a weak breaking point in the wall.

I just made these on tinkercad so just go there and upload the file on there, insert a shape to bridge the gap and download the file. Bang done. Should take 5 minutes.

Hey Trippy, I watched your videos of you using this, I have been messing around with the idea myself but the print times scare me away lol. anyway what print settings did you use and how long did it take to print?

Cant remember the precise settings, but I can remember it was lower than the "Low Quality" setting on Cura. Print times, even on that, were about 10-15 hours per segment. Printing at a decent quality would take around a week of constant printing for the whole sluice I reckon. Seems daunting but I think its time well spent. Considering the saving that can be made I rather spend the time as opposed to my hard earned dollars.

Completely agree with you there, I printed 1 section with maker geeks raptor series pla and it turned out great with the exception on one side wall it printed without being combined with the rest not sure if it was my printers fault or something in the g code making the gap. I want to print it in abs but hate that it warps just not sure how well the raptor series pla will hold up in water. Might try making an encloser out of cardboard to try the abs print.

Try PETG. Best of both worlds when talking about PLA and ABS
