Love the design. Could someone please remix for 8x10 glass?

Ryks,
Nice design, simple and looks effective. I like the addition of the end stop as well. Can you post a link to the Cable Chain you used? I have tried several, but have had issues.

Thank You,
JohnQ

Anet A8 Y cable chain Remix
by ryks

Does your end stop for the Chain prevent it from beveling up? My chain bevels upwards when it homes and then the extruder runs into it. I'm assuming your end stop prevents this? Thanks!

Hi I love this design and would like to print one for my Anet A8, can you give me a tip on how to edit those files to work for my glass ped it is 200x220 and I cant seem to figure out how to edit those STL files.

Thanks, it helped but now I'm using 123D to adjust several measurements since yours seems to be slightly different than my printer, thanks for pointing me to 123D it is a really good program and easy to use but it seems to crash every time I leave it running in the background for more than about 15 minutes??!!.

maby you are using a wrong vs /see 32 or 64 -must have a video card ati or nvidia .i have a gtx 880.when you wanna work with prg just choose -click 2 on the exe and choose run with graphic processor -hi performance nvidia processor ...........intel video card has poor response /

import the stl files to 123D design and modify the draw.i think is working for a full plate A8 too .just rise the left part corner wall a litlle bit and done .

i will make soon a video on youtube and a link here .stay tune .cheers

Great I can't wait for the video, I'm downloading 123D design now and well try that, I tried using FreeCAD but so far no success.

Interesting idea. Is it ABS? Does it stands fine with hotbed temperatures about 100-120 C?

yes it does

I wonder if you tried printing ABS with this glass support? PLA is not high-temperature resistive

yes .working well with abs on glass

What hotbed temperatures do you use with this supports while printing ABS?

This is an extruder temperature. What about HOTBED temperature?

What are you settings?

In simplify3d they are marked- auto,infill 100,3 layers downside and upside.nozzle 0.3
