These are the parts I designed to upgrade my Flyingwings Hornet to take a 22 size motor (DYS 2205 2550Kv) running on 4S. WARNING fitting this beefed up motor mount and a bigger motor will make the hornet a bit tail heavy. I balanced the plain by fitting a larger battery and fly with a mobius on top of the battery. The flyingwings Hornet is a great plane and handles the extra weight and power very well, infact a bit more stable than the stock model. This is footage of it flying: https://youtu.be/PQfTC5oNNkA
The motor mount allows for a larger motor to be fitted, and allows air flow to cool the motor I printed this in ABS with solid infill. attached it with UHU POR and a small bead of hot glue around the mount.
The winglets are a bit more aerodynamic, but I designed these way too thick. Please print them with a max height of 1.2mm (6 layers of 0.2). They are rearward and can make the plane tail heavy. I used UHU POR to glue these inplace.
The front brace allows the foam to be removed between the camera and main compartment allowing the battery to be moved further forward. I used UHU POR to glue this in place.
All parts were ABS printed on Kapton, with layer heights of 0.2 I think I probably designed the motor mount and front brace to be printed with a width of 0.4
