Looked around to print a nice headphone holder and couldn't find a fancy one. Decided to look around the web for a fancy design and ended up with this.
I take no credit for this design since I copied it from an existing design of a commercially available headphone holder (ROOMs Audio FS).
The holder is strong enough to hold atleast a PSB m4u 2 so should be plenty strong for anything that you can put on your head and around your ears (or neck).
Print 1 base, 1 rest and 2 connectors. The holes are for designed to take M4 screws; wouldn't suggest using anything above 10mm M4s. You will need four screws in total.
I used cura to slice it and had supports touching the print bed only (a little amount of support). The base does have a sharp overhand at the top and if you print slow enough (I printed it between 30 - 40mm/s) with adequate cooling, the print should not be a problem.
I would suggest printing it with composite filament for added weight and strength.
I plan on using wood stain to colour the one that I printed but there should be plenty of ways and finishes that can be used to make it stand out.
